The Department of Management and Social Sciences proposes to organize SMART-MET 2026, an International Conference on Smart Management, Economics, and Tourism, aimed at addressing contemporary challenges and opportunities faced by emerging and transition economies.
In the context of globalization, digital transformation, sustainability imperatives, and post-pandemic recovery, tourism development, economic growth, and management practices are increasingly interdependent. Emerging economies such as Uzbekistan require integrated academic and policy-oriented dialogue to design smart strategies for destination development, business growth, and economic resilience.
SMART-MET 2026 will provide an interdisciplinary platform for academicians, researchers, policymakers, industry professionals, and doctoral scholars to deliberate on smart thinking, strategic management, and economic intelligence that collectively shape sustainable destinations and competitive economies.
Over two intellectually enriching days, the conference will feature keynote lectures, technical paper sessions, panel discussions, doctoral forums, and poster presentations, fostering both academic rigor and policy relevance.
