Global AI Leader at Amity: Prof. Ruslan Salakhutdinov

Today at Amity University Tashkent, we were honored to host Prof. Ruslan Salakhutdinov, world-renowned AI and Deep Learning scientist from @CarnegieMellonUniversity.

Professor Salakhutdinov earned his PhD under Geoffrey Hinton at the University of Toronto and is now a Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. He also served as Director of AI Research at Apple and as Vice President of AI Research at Meta. His research covers deep learning, probabilistic models, and large-scale optimization.

In today’s lecture, he shared insights on the latest advances in AI and the importance of bridging research with practice.
