On August 3rd, Amity University in Tashkent successfully hosted an intensive hackathon as part of the Cyber Summer Camp program, organized exclusively for mentors working within the “Muhammad al-Khwarizmi’s Heirs” educational system.
This milestone event served as the culmination of several days of specialized training aimed at equipping mentors with advanced skills in startup creation, project management, and innovation strategy. Throughout the program, participants gained practical insights into transforming creative ideas into viable business models, as well as techniques for fostering entrepreneurship among young students they mentor.
The hackathon itself brought together mentors in a competitive yet collaborative environment, where teams were challenged to design and present startup concepts addressing real-world challenges. Working under time constraints, they showcased not only technical expertise but also teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking.
Organizers highlighted that the event’s purpose extended beyond competition — it was a platform for knowledge exchange and networking, preparing mentors to guide the next generation of innovators more effectively. The most promising ideas presented during the hackathon will receive further support and development opportunities in the next phases of the Cyber Summer Camp.
