On March 11, Amity University Tashkent proudly hosted a grand celebration in honor of International Women's Day
👉🏼 The celebration commenced with an opening address by Mr. Shukhrat Sattorov, Director of Amity University Tashkent, followed by a presentation by Dr. Naina Chaudhary showcasing the university’s initiatives, including InnovateHers Week, AI-generated posters, and photographs honoring women’s empowerment. Throughout the event, students delighted the audience with cultural performances, adding vibrancy to the occasion.
The event featured inspiring speeches from distinguished guests, who emphasized the importance of women's roles in education, leadership, and societal development.
One of the key moments of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Amity University Tashkent and Women in Tech Uzbekistan, reinforcing the university's commitment to supporting women in the technology sector.
To honor excellence, the university presented the Achievers Award to outstanding female students and alumni, recognizing their academic and professional accomplishments.
A panel discussion on the theme “Women in Academia vs. Women in Corporates” served as an insightful session, featuring accomplished professionals from diverse industries. The discussion provided valuable perspectives on career growth, leadership, and challenges faced by women in different sectors.
