On November 25, Amity University Tashkent hosted guest lecture titled “Zero Trust Architecture and the New Approach to Network Security”

👉🏼Davron Adilkhodjaev began by introducing the concept of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), emphasizing its importance in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape. He explained that traditional network security models, which rely on perimeter defenses, are no longer sufficient due to the increasing sophistication of cyber threats and the rise of hybrid work environments.

During the lecture students learned about:
- Practical steps organizations can take to transition to ZTA, including micro-segmentation, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and robust monitoring systems.
- Case studies from TBC UZ showcasing the implementation of ZTA to safeguard sensitive data and ensure business continuity.

The lecture concluded with a dynamic Q&A session where students engaged with Mr. Adilkhodjaev. Questions ranged from the challenges of adopting Zero Trust in legacy systems to career opportunities in cybersecurity. Mr. Adilkhodjaev shared his experiences, inspiring students to consider the field of network security as a promising career path.
