On September 26, Tourism Day was organized for Amity university Tashkent students in a traditional way.
This day, we explained the importance of sustainable tourism and preservation of natural and cultural heritage through seminars on interesting topics of tourism, presentations inspiring young people to the field, and colorful cultural performances. Within the framework of the project, the competitions of preparing "food without fire" in the column "sayo oshsonasi" aroused great interest among students.
In addition to the cultural immersion, there were discussions on the role of tourism in Uzbekistan's economy, and guest speakers from the tourism industry provided insights into career opportunities in this growing sector. Faculty members led interactive sessions on the future of sustainable tourism and the importance of preserving cultural heritage while fostering economic development through tourism.
Overall, the Tourism Day event was not only an engaging and educational experience but also emphasized the role that young professionals, especially students, can play in promoting and developing the tourism industry in Uzbekistan.
