On March 18, Amity University Tashkent held a meeting with Sohan Dutta - Group Manager – Corporate Strategy and Business Enablement, Bangalore, India
HCL Executive Vice President (Sriram Hariharan) sent Sohan Dutta to explore Uzbekistan on an 'Offshore Outsourcing Tour'. Several calls were arranged with Sohan to provide information about opportunities in Uzbekistan and Epam's successes. They are interested in IT talent in the country - for them this is a decisive factor when opening a new office.
Purpose of the meeting:
- Understand what factors will influence HCL Tech's decision to expand in Uzbekistan.
- If necessary, help with assessing IT talent in Uzbekistan.
- Help establish a presence in Central Asia by opening a new HCL Tech office in Uzbekistan for outsourcing.
- Invite the Grand Duchy of Lithuania delegation to visit Uzbekistan and continue the discussion
