On June 27-30, Amity University Tashkent participated in the Global Youth Festival 2024
The festival is an international event dedicated to celebrating and empowering young people from around the world, which provided a unique platform for students to showcase their talents, engage in cultural exchange, and discuss pressing global issues. The primary objectives of Amity University Tashkent’s participation in the Global Youth Festival 2024 were: to represent the university on a global stage and highlight our commitment to youth development and to provide students with opportunities for cultural exchange and networking.

On June 25, Amity University Tashkent had a meeting on collaboration discussion with UStudy, an initiative by Uzinfocom.
The meeting focused on identifying synergies between both organizations and developing a framework for future cooperation. Representatives from UStudy provided a comprehensive overview of the UStudy initiative, highlighting its mission to enhance educational experiences through the integration of advanced technologies. The event took place from June 21-27, 2024, across multiple cities in Uzbekistan, including Urgench, Bukhara, Navoi, Karshi, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Andijan, Namangan, Nukus, Termez, Nurafshan, and Guliston. The primary objectives of Amity University Tashkent’s participation in the Job&Edu Fest were: To provide detailed information about the university's academic programs. 5 Amity University Tashkent students were selected for the China Digital Tour, as part of the Huawei Seeds for the Future 2023 program, supported by the Ministry of Digital Technologies
As part of the tour, 12 IT students will be in Shenzhen and Shanghai to immerse themselves in the innovative world of Huawei's exhibition complexes Students Ikhtiyor Sodikov, Shakhzoda Mirzaeva, Jakhongirkhuja Juraev, Zafariddin Kamarov and Shakhrizoda Isomitdinova departed from Amity University Tashkent.

On June 21, the Republican stage of the “ICT4Girls” olympiad was held at Amity University Tashkent
12 girls who scored the highest points were announced as winners of the “ICT4Girls” olympiad and awarded with the valuable prizes. For the winners of the “ICT4Girls” olympiad, an additional intensive training – Bootcamp will be organized. At the end of the Bootcamp, 4 selected participants will join the National team of Uzbekistan and represent at the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics, which will take place from July 21 to 27 this year in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

On June 19, Amity University Tashkent participated in the UzQuiz competition
Competition was held between the teams of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, enterprises, organizations and institutions within it, with the team of Amity University. According to the results of the 8th round, which took place in a cheerful mood, the Amity team took a place in the top ten after the top 3 places. Amity University Tashkent’s team performed admirably throughout the competition, showcasing their strong knowledge base and collaborative skills. Moreover, The team advanced through several rounds, competing fiercely against other top universities and enterprises.

On June 8, Amity University Tashkent hosted the regional round of the ICT4Girls Olympiad, a prestigious competition fostering IT skills among schoolgirls
The ICT4Girls Olympiad, organized by the Digital Education Development Center under the Ministry of Digital Technologies in cooperation with the Ministry of Pre-school and School Education, Amity University Tashkent, and Uzum, aims to bridge the gender gap in ICT sector. Five participants with highest results from each of the 14 locations in Uzbekistan, who demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills during the regional round, will qualify for the Republic stage.
