Dr. Supriya Banerjee

PROFILE

Dr. Supriya Banerjee is working in International Foundations Studies Department as an Associate Professor at Amity University in Tashkent. She has been a Program Leader for the Department of Management and Social Sciences and International Foundation Studies previously. She is a multifaceted professional who develops teaching and learning pedagogies by an active interface of English Language, Management and Cultural Studies.

She has scored the highest grade, situated at C1-C2 in English Proficiency language Testing from Cambridge University Advanced English testing system, framed by the European Language Testing Center. She is an awardee of full scholarship by the prestigious Niti Ayog under WBUAFS for her documentary on popular cultural traditions of India. She was also offered a scholarship to GGC, USA in 2021 for conducting sessions at the University. She has received a distinction grade in a Certificate course on the Rise of Superheroes and its impact on pop culture securing 82% from the Smithsonian Institute USA.

She has a diverse teaching background and has taught students from Soka University in Japan, GGC, USA, Colombo University, Sri Lanka and Dhaka University & Chittagong University, Bangladesh (Under ICCSR) and India. She uses Post Structuralisms and Deconstruction to challenge the text and make the class interactive. She uses Meta Cognitive strategies to challenge and make language learning easy by using computational linguistics and interactive technologies.

She has participated in several National and International Seminars, Conferences, Workshops and FDP and Webinars. Furthermore, she has delivered several lectures, sessions in various Conferences, FDP, and Workshop as Keynote Speaker / Resource Person.
