International Foundation Studies prepares students for an undergraduate degree at university. The curriculum is specifically designed for students to attain the required level of qualifications and skill sets to pursue a degree at university. The program also offers along with core courses, pathway courses in the domains of Tourism, Economics, Business Studies and Accounting and Essential Mathematics respectively. The Pathway elective courses enable the student to understand their core competencies and map their future course of action and academic career. The program provides students the academic and English language skills to progress on to an undergraduate degree.

International Foundation Studies is a program with courses on Essentials of Communication Skills, IT, Mathematics and Pathway courses in the area of IT/CSE, Tourism, Economics and Management preparing students for Bachelor’s Degree programs. It covers structured communicative English language courses focusing on all four English communications skills that is, listening, speaking reading, and writing along with emphasis on vocabulary development and grammar. It also aims at increasing students’ confidence in using the English language as a lingua franca. This course is taught by learning each skill using real world situations, simulated classroom activities and case studies. The pedagogy used includes group discussions and pair work, computer based learning, and audio-visual aids to support learning. It helps identify core competencies across proficiency levels. The Students also undergo research by creating their digital portfolio that enables them to learn varied aspects of research skills.
